The Neuroscience Care Unit (NCU) is a state-of-the-art 40-bed facility located in the Brain Center Building. It is the region’s largest and most advanced critical care unit specifically designed for patients with brain, spine, and nervous system disease or trauma. It is staffed by a professional care team experienced and trained in caring for neurological and neurosurgery patients. Over 1200 patients are admitted to the NCU each year.
The NCU is headed by Dr. Hu Yinghong, and staffed by a team of dedicated neurointensivists with backgrounds in neurology, neurosurgery, emergency, internal medicine, and neurobiology.
