The Department of Clinical Laboratory Medicine has a staff of over 60 employees serving in seven sections: Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Immunology, Clinical Microbiology, Hematology and Coagulation, Molecular Diagnostics, Body fluid and phlebotomy, Emergency. Our laboratories process over 3 million samples annually.
In recent years, new biotechnologies, better medical service requirements and the increasing number of the patients in this hospital represent new opportunities and also challenges. In line with providing more reliable results with more rigorous standardization and quality control program to assist doctors and patients in making optimal decisions, our lab was accredited by ISO15189 in 2012 and 2014,and CAP in 2013 and 2015.
