Intensive Care Unit does not only rescue critical patients inside the SAHZU, also provide second opinions for other hospitals and accepts referral from other hospitals. ICU admits patients with various critical conditions, including acute respiratory failure, severe sepsis/septic shock, cardiac arrest, AMI, acute massive hemorrhage of digestive tract, severe acute pancreatitis, acute kidney failure and multiple organ dysfunction, and severe craniocerebral injury, and patients who need perioperative care after major surgeries including liver transplantation. SAHZU ICU is the first in Zhejiang province to employ advanced technology such as blood purification. Every medical staff in ICU is well trained and capable of bedside monitoring, evaluating, diagnosing and treating patients with critical conditions 24/7. They can relieve patients’ and their family’s pain by their loving and caring attitudes.
