The Department of Oral Medicine, with a history of more than 70 years, is the cradle of dental education in Zhejiang province. We have a large group of experienced oral physicians who treat more than 120,000 patients annually.
The dentists of Oral Medicine are all skilled in periodontal diseases, caries, pulpitis and periapical disease and oral mucosal diseases. Some of them are nationally recognized for their performance of complex procedures with safety and satisfactory outcomes. In particular, we focus on the pathogenesis and new therapies of periodontal disease, caries, pulpitis, periapical disease, and oral mucosal diseases.
Advanced equipment such as cone beam CT, operating microscopes, oral panoramic radiography, oral digital X-ray system, apex locator, continuous wave condensation system, ultrasound system, etc. are all available in our department.
