Over the past years, the department has made remarkable achievements in clinical research too. 79 projects were funded by central and provincial government, 58 of which by the Natural Science Foundation of China. In 2018/2019 period, the department has been awarded another 7 new NSFC funding.
The department has been honored with several provincial prizes, including one second prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award and one first prize of Zhejiang Healthcare and Technology Progress Award.
It has published about 300 SCI articles totally and been awarded 3 provincial and ministerial prizes in recent 5 years.
