The Department of Radiology provides the full range of diagnostic imaging services as well as selected therapeutic techniques, for both inpatients and outpatients. Using advanced diagnostic modalities -- radiography, CT and MRI and so on-- it offers specialized services in the following areas: neuroradiology, head and neck radiology, thoracic radiology, cardiovascular radiology, breast imaging,gastrointestinal radiology, genitourinary radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, emergency radiologyand interventional radiology.
The department is committed to providing the highest level of service to all the patients and performs approximately 800,000 examinations per year. Since interventional radiology was established in 1991 as a therapeutic modality, more than 50,000 procedures have been performed, such as embolotherapy, TACE, RF, PVP, etc.
