Novel techniques, protocols and technical advances in urology are attributable, to some extent, to our research and development in this area. Our interest includes both translational research, and clinical research via interaction and collaboration with patients. Many of our laboratory discoveries have been translated into technological and therapeutic advances and integrated into clinical trials and patient care. Novel approaches for prostate cancer treatment in our department focus on castration-refractory setting. We are also involved in international clinical trial using PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor to treat muscle-invasive bladder cancer.

Our urologists have published hundreds of articles covering clinical and basic research, which act as a testimony of the Department's long-standing commitment to medical inquiry.
