"Uncle, are you feeling unwell?" Chair of SAHZU Vascular Surgery Prof. CHEN Bing has to speak at the top of his lung, discarding all the medical etiquette, in order to communicate with the elder patient in front of him. However, the patient still looks vacant and mumbles something that almost no one understands because of his strong accent. Finally, it is with a local doctor's help that Prof. CHEN could talk with this patient rather smoothly. It turns out that the patient has been feeling so much pain in his back lately that he can barely work in the fields, and so is seeking for professional medical opinions. After examining the patient closely, Prof. CHEN gives his professional advice, especially telling him to be very careful to avoid falls.

May 20 Thursday, a team of SAHZU vascular surgeons and endocrinologists arrive at Chen Jia Pu, a traditional village 300 kilometers southwest of Hangzhou located in the mountains of Li Shui city's Song Yang county. The purpose of the trip for SAHZU doctors is to offer free medical consultations for the villagers there. On the same day, a collaboration agreement is reached between SAHZU and the Song Yang People's Hospital, which kicks off a five-year-partnership where SAHZU promises to provide its high-quality medical services on-site for the people of Song Yang.

This activity is part of Zhejiang Province's agenda to enhance the healthcare level of the underserved areas, so as to build a healthy society for all.
