SAHZU Stroke Team Won Gold Award Issued by Chinese Stroke Association

SAHZU Stroke Team was given a gold award by Chinese Stroke Association for their excellent performance in the treatment of acute stroke. SAHZU Stoke Team is standing at the top of the 5 gold award winners.


The award was presented in the 2nd Annual Scientific Session of Chinese Stroke Association and Tiantan International Stroke Conference held in Beijing on Jun. 25, 2016 (2016 CSA & TISC). Through a series of PDCA quality improvement programs, SAHZU Stroke Team continuously improve its procedure of acute stroke diagnosis and treatment, making the average time taken from the arrival of patients to thrombolysis less than international standard 60 minutes.


SAHZU Brain Center is composed of Neurology Department, Neurosurgery Department, Neuro Intensive Care Unit and Psychiatry Department. Both Neurology Department and Neurosurgery Department were ranked top in Zhejiang Province and at the leading level in the country.


Since the foundation of China Stroke Center Alliance in 2015, 1500 hospitals have joined the Alliance and hundreds of training courses have been organized to optimize stroke diagnosis and treatment procedures. This year, 20 acute stroke teams from the Alliance were awarded for their efficient treatment. 5 of them won gold awards.
