The 7th Cross Strait Hospital CEO Forum successfully held in Hangzhou

Jointly hosted by SAHZU, Cross Strait Medicine Exchange Association and Taiwan College of Healthcare Executives, the 7th Cross Strait Hospital CEO Forum was held in Hangzhou from May 17 to 19. The theme of the Forum this year was marching towards the era of value based medicine.

About 70 senior healthcare managers delivered excellent speeches at the Forum’s main session, parallel sessions and workshops, sharing their ideas from their own experience and expertise on how value based medicine shall be carried out and its significances. 4 international experts, including Mr. Richard Parker, COO at the Norfolk & Norwich NHS Trust, Dr. Nirav Vakharia, the Associate Chief Quality Officer for the Cleveland Clinic Health System, Dr. Anthony Sorkin, the Executive Medical Director of Indiana University Health Population Health and Dr. Latif Al-Hakim, Associate Professor of Operations Management at the University of Southern Queensland, were also invited to speak at the Forum. The Cross Strait Hospital Forum aims to bridge China mainland and Taiwan in the field of hospital management with its powerful impact and its keen observation of Chinese healthcare reform. Recent years have seen continuous growth of the number of forum attendees as the size of the forum keeps expanding. The 7th Forum is hoped not to be a single event but to bring new ideas to our attendees that can truly benefit our patients as well as the healthcare industry.
