Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Laparoscopic hysterectomy is a minimally invasive procedure to remove the uterus through small abdominal incisions. Using a laparoscope and specialised instruments, the surgeon precisely visualises and removes the uterus with minimal disruption to surrounding tissue. This approach is recommended when vaginal hysterectomy is not suitable, and offers significant advantages over traditional open surgery, including reduced postoperative pain, shorter hospital stay, faster recovery, and minimal scarring that is often barely visible once healed.
