Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a minimally invasive procedure to remove the gallbladder through small abdominal incisions using a laparoscope and specialised instruments. It is the gold‑standard treatment for symptomatic gallstones, gallbladder polyps, and related conditions. Compared to open surgery, the laparoscopic approach offers significantly reduced postoperative pain, a shorter hospital stay, faster return to daily activities, and minimal scarring.
