Total hip replacement surgery is a procedure in which the damaged hip joint is replaced with an artificial implant to relieve pain and restore mobility.
Implant & Consumables Note: The package price excludes the implant but includes standard consumables. Should the patient wish to upgrade to premium or specific brand consumables, the price difference will be charged separately and must be confirmed with the surgeon and ZJU‑SAH Global Health prior to surgery.
• International patients who have been assessed by an orthopaedic specialist and are considered suitable for routine elective total hip replacement surgery.
• Patients with primary or secondary hip osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, hip involvement due to ankylosing spondylitis, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, failed arthroplasty, impaired joint function following resolved septic arthritis or osteomyelitis, or bone tumours of the proximal femur or acetabulum (benign or early‑stage malignant, evaluated according to standard protocols).
• Patients with relatively stable overall condition, without significant severe underlying disease or acute organ dysfunction.
• Final eligibility for this package is subject to assessment by the attending physician and the hospital’s relevant clinical processes.
✓ Five nights of hospital stay in a standard room.
✓ Pre‑operative standard examination.
✓ Operating theatre and basic facility fees.
✓ Surgical team and nursing service fees.
✓ Standard surgical supplies and equipment.
✓ Anaesthesia and standard intraoperative medications.
✓ Standard discharge medications related to the surgery.
✓ Surgeon’s fee and routine inpatient medical care directly related to the surgery.
✓ Language support.
✗ Upgrade to premium or specific brand consumables beyond the standard inclusion (price difference to be confirmed with the surgeon and ZJU‑SAH Global Health prior to surgery).
✗ Fees for telemedicine consultation and outpatient visits prior to admission.
✗ Further evaluation, consultation, or management required for pre‑existing or unrelated conditions.
✗ Additional inpatient days beyond the estimated stay, ICU admission, or fees incurred after physician‑authorised discharge.
✗ Additional operating time, special equipment, or special consumables due to surgical complexity or unexpected intraoperative findings.
✗ Blood transfusion and related costs.
✗ Additional special examinations, imaging, or pathology not included in the package.
✗ Personal expenses, companion or family services, meals, telephone, and special interpretation services.
✗ Home care supplies, outpatient rehabilitation, or post‑discharge follow‑up treatment.
