A team from SAHZU Cardiology, led by President Prof. WANG Jian'an, proctored two transcatheter edge‑to‑edge repair (TEER) procedures at the Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on Apr. 21, 2026. The operations were performed using DragonFly™, a home‑grown device co‑developed by the SAHZU team and a Hangzhou‑based medical technology company.

The procedures were carried out on two high‑risk patients with complex mitral regurgitation. Prof. WANG and Prof. LIU Xianbao worked alongside the CUHK cardiology team. Both interventions were completed successfully, with good immediate results.

During the visit, both sides expressed interest in deepening collaboration, combining the Hangzhou's clinical resources and industrial capacity with Hong Kong's international platform for translational research and cross‑border data exchange.
