The Department of Infectious Diseases is a relatively new department. It was set up in 2004. Currently, there are 11 doctors in the department, including two chief physicians. The Department has two sections: the fever clinic with isolated observation rooms (open 24 hours every day) and the intestine clinic with isolated observation rooms (open from May 1 to October 31 every year). The Department focuses on the handling, screening, diagnosis and treatment of key infectious diseases. It also offers consultative services for other departments in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases as well as the proper application of antibiotics. Furthermore, the department provides training in infectious diseases to the employees of the hospital. We also undertake the task to prevent and treat key infectious diseases.
