About 50 International nursing students from overseas nursing schools such as Azusa Pacific University based in southern California of the United States have completed their elective program at SAHZU since 2011. The program is highly regarded by all the nursing students. Every student coming to SAHZU is placed in one or more specialties depending on their choices and assigned a team of experienced and English speaking SAHZU nurses to be in charge of their electives. What is special about the program is that it is a nursing and culture combined course that can let the trainees experience the clinical systems of Chinese healthcare institutions while immersing themselves in Chinese culture.
At the same time, about 50 SAHZU nurses have traveled to overseas healthcare institutions to have long term clinical observations and nursing management enhancement trainings.
