Wang Ping, Master of Surgery of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, has worked in the Department of General Surgery at the Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine for more than 30 years, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid and parathyroid gland diseases in the past ten years, and the annual surgical volume is among the best.
In 2006, he took the lead in introducing the technology of treating thyroid disease (cancer) under complete laparoscopic surgery in China, and has completed more than 5,000 cases of scarless thyroid surgery. It has great influence in China and Southeast Asia. He also was invited to give academic reports and surgical demonstrations in many provinces and cities in China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and other places.
The Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine is currently undertaking a national continuing education class - complete endoscopic surgery for thyroid disease. The trainees come from well-known hospitals in various provinces and cities in China, and promote endoscopic thyroid surgery to the whole country.
