Clinical / Research Interests

Dr. Hu’s research interests including investigations of therapeutic targets and underlying mechanisms on myocardial infarction and heart failure. Her team focus on two aspects of studies: 1) Stem cells therapy for heart failure and myocardial infarction from rodents to non-human primates. 2) Discovering novel therapeutic targets (eg. Flavin Containing Monooxygenase 2) on their advantages towards myocardial infarction and heart failure. She acquired Youth Chang Jiang Scholars Program as well as Outstanding Youth Science Foundation during her career and has published 56 articles on renowned journals like Circulation Research, Stem Cells etc.
