Research Summary

Dr. Yao has been engaged in the pathophysiology and experimental treatment of respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, acute lung injury, lung cancer, etc., especially the role and its mechanism of Rho small G protein Rac and its subtypes, which may be involved in neutrophils in lung injury or regulation of endothelial permeability on tumor cell metastasis in lung tumors. At present, the focus is on the role of the small G protein RhoA in allergic diseases such as eosinophil chemotaxis.
