Clinical / Research Interests

Diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, thyroid disease and adrenal disease, especially primary hyperaldosteronism (PA). PA is the most common disease of secondary hypertension and adrenal vein sampling (AVS) is the gold standard but high-difficulty technology for localizing the overproduction of PA. The success rate of AVS at SAHZU is almost 95% -100% and Dr Xu is a chief specialist for diagnosis and treatment of PA at SAHZU.

Clinical research for the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of primary hyperaldosteronism, especially construction of standardized diagnosis and treatment for PA as well as promoting the development of adrenal vein sampling in SAHZU.
