Frontline treatment experience and research interests were exchanged at the webinar.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in France reached 120,000 as of April 24, which caused unprecedented pressure on French health system as well as its medical professionals. SAHZU representatives at the meeting, including members of SAHZU’s Wuhan medical team, asked about the treatment approach used by French colleagues and obstacles they met, expressing their deep concern about the epidemic situation in France. They gave detailed answers to questions posed by French side. SAHZU Vice President Prof. HUANG Jian introduced SAHZU’s response strategy during the outbreak and shared effective treatment experience.

Zhejiang University reached a partnership with Université Paris-Saclay, a top ranked French university, in 2018. In the middle of this global crisis, heads of international departments of two universities recognized their friendship by making complimentary contributions to the fight against the virus.
