Prof. YAO Ke, chair of SAHZU Eye Center, was ranked Top 8 in the 1st Asia-Pacific Eye 100. The honor is awarded to the top 100 most influential figures in ophthalmology in the Asia-Pacific region by the Asia-Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology (APJO)—a joint publication of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and the Academy of Asia-Pacific Professors of Ophthalmology (AAPPO).
The awardees are selected by the selection committee consisting of 22 internationally renowned experts in the field of ophthalmology from 15 countries and regions across the world. The selection was based on achievements in and contributions to ophthalmology, including academics, leadership, innovation, training, education, and prevention of blindness.
