Led by Mr. Carl Decaluwé, Governor of West Flanders of Belgium, a 30-member delegation Visits SAHZU on October 16, 2023. Ms. CHEN Yanqin, Deputy Director-General of Zhejiang Foreign Affairs Department, and Sun Beilei, Director of European Affairs Division of Zhejiang Foreign Affairs Department accompanied the delegation to the hospital. SAHZU President Prof. WANG Weilin and Vice President Prof. WANG Liangjing welcomed the guests on behalf of the hospital.
SAHZU firmly holds the belief that "we need the world as we are needed by the world". In his welcome remarks, Prof. WANG Weilin expressed his sincere wishes to establish close relationship with Belgium colleagues in the field of healthcare based on the current cooperation.
As the delegation toured around the SAHZU Binjiang campus, they were presented demonstrations of 5G technology application in the SAHZU emergency rescue network and mobile ICU, as well as SAHZU medical innovations such as brain-computer interface and self-developed heart valve device.
