The First Clinical Research Training Course for SAHZU Department Heads was successfully held at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH) from June 9 to June 14, 2024. A total of 14 SAHZU department chairs and directors attended the training course, and together started this extraordinary journey of pursuing excellence with the world's best researchers and pushing research boundaries.

With a focus on clinical research methodology, the compact training covers multiple topics, ranging from clinical research design and analysis of the effectiveness of research, to the clinical research epidemiology and statistical methodology, as well as the key elements of data analysis and quality assessment.

The format of the program was unique, with daily interactive lectures and seminars, as well as inspiring on-site visits and in-depth exchanges with HSPH colleagues.

The SAHZU delegation was also given the chance to visit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and other major Harvard hospitals, from which they gained invaluable experience and insights.
