The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery is the surgical arm of the Heart Center, dedicated to providing the safest, latest, highest-quality care, using the most innovative techniques for our patients. It has over 10 surgeons with extensive experience in cardiovascular surgery.
The Department offers a full spectrum of cardiovascular surgical services, including heart transplantation. Its surgeons perform thousands of cardiac and vascular surgeries each year using state-of-the-art technology, including minimally invasive techniques and off-pump bypass heart procedures. The volume of heart transplantation and micro invasive surgery stands at the top in Zhejiang Province.
SAHZU cardiovascular surgeons are also dedicated to developing new and less invasive cardiac therapies for patients. At the department, those with heart ailments benefit from experienced doctors who collaborate to determine the most appropriate care for each patient.
