The Center engages in both basic and clinical research of reproductive medicine. Faculty providing the internationalized therapeutic philosophy and the sinified exquisite and ingenious technique would guarantee the best therapeutic effect. Faculty members are working on NSFC/ZJNSF- funded scientific research projects to close the knowledge gap in the understanding of physiology and pathophysiology related to fertility and sterility. We have developed programs to elucidate the etiology and pathogenesis of premature ovarian insufficiency and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), the physiology of maternal-fetal crosstalk during embryo-implantation period. Dozens of authored articles were published in SCI journals, including Human Reproduction, Fertility and Sterility, Andrology, eBiomedicine, FASEB J and Scientific Report et al. Our team’s efforts on seeking for improvement of safety and efficiency of embryo freeze was recently honored with an innovation achievement award by SAHZU which encourages transformation from clinical bench studies to inventions.
