SAHZU Regulation on Accompanying Patients

Dear patients and patient families:

In order to contain the spread of COVID-19 inside the hospital and ensure a safe medical environment for everyone, please obtain following regulations of hospitalization.

1. All hospitalized patients shall wear patient uniforms and limit activities outside the hospital area.

2. Entrances and exits of all wards are strictly monitored 24/7.

3. On-site visiting is politely declined. Please use phone or video chat to visit patients virtually.

4. About accompanying patients

4.1. Patient family is not allowed to accompany the patient in principle.

4.2. Doctors and nurses in charge will decide if the patient needs accompany based on patient condition under special circumstances.

4.3. Patient in need of accompany can be accompanied by one fixed person only. The person shall wear the identification wrist band written with patient name, department, name of the accompanying personnel.

4.4. Requirement for the accompanying personnel:

● Green health code (yellow and red code not allowed) and travel code with no indication of travel history to regions of moderate to high COVID-19 risks;

● Negative epidemiology history;

● No symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, diminished sense of smell/taste, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, myalgia and diarrhea;

4.5. Negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours and the test is performed within Zhejiang province;

4.6. Nurse in charge shall check the body temperature of accompanying personnel once a day. Accompanying personnel with a body temperature of 37.3℃ and above is not allowed to accompany the patient, with a body temperature of 37.5℃ and above shall proceed to the Fever Clinic for further screening.

5. The accompanying personnel shall limit activities outside the hospital area. Meals of the accompanying personnel will be provided by the hospital. Food delivery is declined.

6. Please wear masks properly and change masks every day. Please do not linger around. Please keep distance.

7. Please wash hands properly after touching public materials.
