SAHZU Notice

SAHZU Policy on Visiting Patients in Inpatient Wards

Dear patients and families:

In order to ensure a well-organized medical environment for the speedy recovery of the patient, please follow policies on visiting and accompanying patients in wards.

1. Visiting hours:

Visiting hours are from 2 PM to 8 PM and 6 AM to 7:30 AM every day. Up to two visitors are allowed for each patient each time. We politely decline any visits during non-visiting hours when ward rounding, patient treatment or rest are taking place, and the ward door access will be strictly managed.

For any special situations (e.g. same day discharge, change of patient condition, emergency examination, urgent signature requirement), please inform the security at the entrance who will communicate with the inpatient wards. The visitor can enter the wards with proper permission.

Details on visiting hours and communication methods of ICUs, burns, neonatal ICU and other special units can be decided by each unit.

2. Management of patients and their visitors:

Newly admitted patients shall enter the inpatient wards with admission notice. All hospitalized patients shall wear patient uniforms and limit activities outside the ward.

Head nurse of the ward is in charge of giving identification wrist band to the visitors based on patient condition and orders. Only one visitor is allowed to stay with the patient unless under special conditions. The visitor shall enter and exit the inpatient ward with the identification wrist band.

The visitor shall wear masks properly. Please do not linger around. Please don’t visit the other inpatient rooms. Please don’t lie on the patient bed.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused! Wish you a speedy recovery!
