The Obstetrics Department at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine is devoted to maternal and child healthcare. Our team is dedicated to and accomplished in diagnosis and treatment of issues during normal pregnancy as well as various pregnancy related diseases and complications. Besides our clinical work, we highly value our engagement in medical training, scientific research and the prevention of diseases during maternity for both mother and child.
The Obstetric Ward is located on the 10th floor of the central building on the Binjiang Campus. Currently, beside the consultation work, the Department is in charge of more than 30 beds and a high-risk maternity ward, several delivery and operating rooms, a perinatal care room as well as a Neonatal ICU and further pregnancy related services.
In order to exchange know-how between different medical faculties in the entire nation, we have been hosting the Qianjiang Forum, a national conference discussing different medical topics of obstetric medicine, for the last 3 consecutive years. Furthermore, we’re honored to mention that our department has been recently selected as an governmentally authorized Antenatal Clinic Center of the Zhejiang Province.
