Founded in 2013, the Department of Pediatrics is one of the youngest department at SAHZU. The Department covers areas of child neurology, ,neonatology, child endocrinology, child respiratory medicine and general pediatrics. Pediatrics is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases in children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. It is a broad specialty which is defined by age rather than by organ systems. It includes general and specialized services, with clinics of child neurology and general paediatrics.When Obstetrics service opens, neonatal care will be provided with renowned neonatologists and well equiped facilities. With vigor and vitality,a number of talents have gathered in the department and have formed a perfect team. Among 11 faculties,one has doctoral degree, 9 have master degree. The department has 29 beds currently.
