The Department of Pediatrics provides children health and growth management services including diagonosis and treatment of common diseases,immunization and wellness check up. Our team is composed of specialists who are very experienced in clinical work and scientific research in the pediatric field. Most of the staff have received graduate education.The department itself has wards, outpatient clinic and electro-physiologic lab (evoked potential, EEG, EMG) for patients with neurolological diseases such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, attention deficit hyperactivity, Gilles de la Tourette, neuromuscular diseases (progressive muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy), metabolic diseases, infectious diseases of neurological system (encephalitis, meningitis), and common diseases in general pediatrics.
Our work includes: vision/audition evoked potentials, routine/active/viedo EEG monitoring, electromyogram and neuroimaging of neurological diseases. We also coporate with other departments and labs to conduct our clinical and research work such as amino acids/organic acid urine detection,gene mutation and virus etiology.
