The Department of Hematology was established in the 1970s. Currently, the Department has over 30 medical staffs, providing a comprehensive set of services for those seeking diagnosis and treatment options for blood disorders. Our blood and marrow transplant (BMT) program was initiated in 1996 and serves as one of the major BMT centers in Zhejiang Province. We have performed about 200 transplants in which autologous and allogeneic transplants account for approximately 50% each.
