The Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT Center has been selected as the Center of Excellence (COE) in Medical Molecular Imaging of Zhejiang Province.

Our research interests are clinical and translational, including both basic and clinical studies. We have close collaboration with institutions from USA, Europe, Japan, and Korea. Our research focus on (1) Development of novel imaging probes for PET, SPECT and Optical imaging, (2) Development of imaging technologies for stem cell trafficking and gene imaging, (3) Development of integrated imaging system for cancer and neurological diseases. Our COE facility has Radiochemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Animal facility, Multimodality imaging Lab, MicroPET Lab, as well as the clinical facilities including Departments of Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Ultrasound, Radiation Therapy and PETCenter.

Prof. Zhang is the Chairman of COE who serves as the editorial board members of《World Journal of Nuclear Medicine》,《Nuclear Medicine Communications》,《Annals of Nuclear Medicine》,《European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging》,《Oncology》,《Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging》and《Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine》.
